11 Spires, 11 voices The acoustics of Notre Dame de Paris will never be the same because the hundreds of year old timbers in its roof system can not be recreated, but the organ of the cathedral was saved from destruction during the fire. The 11 Spires, 11 voices project proposes that the interior and exterior of the new Notre Dame de Paris will be one entity.During the day or night, the sounds, the songs, the voices of Notre Dame de Paris will be heard throughout the city. The interior organ will metaphorically appear as a physical symbol on the roof of the cathedral. The 11 Spires, 11 voices project is covered completely in gold leaf, as a signal to all for the rebirth of the cathedral.
