I chose a jogging track in India, Chandigarh because it is instrastucial ( a place between land and water) and a public place with everyday use. India currently has the largest number of confirmed cases in Asia, and has the second highest number of confirmed cases in the world after US. This place was created in recognition of those people who have lost their lives in COVID-19. It was designed to create a calm and optimistic atmosphere. The cubes are all digital and they get updated whenever someone in the community passes away. While people are jogging and walking, they can just take a moment to remember their loved ones. At night it looks like the cubes are floating in water, almost like a candle floating which creates a very calm environment.
