Modern architecture began to enter Bali around 1977. Modern architecture accepted globally at that time was the application of the mass form of the building and the repetition of several elements and details on the facade. The first building in Bali that fits this modern architecture is the Bank Indonesia building located in Denpasar City. At present, along with developments in the world of architecture and the need for increasingly large and complex banking functions, Bank Indonesia building has to be overcome in the long term. With the potential of the location being in a zoning that is close to supporting facilities in the first and second place, the supporting buildings of the GOR Ngurah Rai, as well as the circulation path to the city center make the right location in the Bank Indonesia building worthy of being given the opportunity to live again into a useful facility for Denpasar City area. The facilities are designed in the form of public space as a third place facility for the surrounding area. Historical existing buildings are of added value to the design as an accent that will be the focus of public attention in reliving memories of the past when this building was still functioning.
